Interview with Zuckerberg, Case Study from Droid and a Peak at the Awards Show
Here are some of the highlights from my second day at the Cannes Lions Festival:
- An interview with Mark Zuckerberg of Facebook
- A case study from Verizon and Droid in Times Square
- A sneak peak of the Awards Show
- A quick video postcard of Cannes. C’est magnifique.
Today’s Lagniappe (a little something extra) – One of the sessions yesterday was with a group called MoFilm. They are leaders in crowdsourcing ads for brands through their extensive community. They featured 9 winners of a recent contest that was centered around the Cannes Festival. I got to meet one of the creatives from The Martin Agency. John and his colleague Trent won the contest for Lego. Click here to see their winning submission. Here is the stunning stat from yesterday . . . There have been over 550,000 videos posted on YouTube involving Lego’s.
Here is a classic lego adaptation from a comedy bit by Eddie Izzard:
HELP me catch another 521 purple goldfish for a great cause. We’re almost half way to the goal of 1,001.
