turning pointHello Stan!

Happy New Year! I hope all is going well for you and your family. I think a lot about this concept and I’ve shared it with my boyfriend who is not in marketing, but finance and quality control ect.. However, this past weekend we went to breakfast at the Turning Point in Brick and it made us think of you… :) So he ordered a cup of coffee, like always and they brought over his own personal coffee pot for him to enjoy at his will. Well, upon paying our check the waitress asked if he would like a “togo” cup to enjoy his coffee after he left at no charge. He said yes, and then said to me, “that’s one of those lan- whatever your old Vice President calls it, isn’t it?” I was like I think so… and I will make sure I email him. :) So there you go. I hope this counts and helps you reach your goal.

Today’s Lagniappe (a little something extra for good measure) – New Jersey is one of only two states in America where you are not allowed to pump your gas. What is the other state? Answer in the first comment.

How do you stand out in the sea of sameness? How do you win repeat customers and influence word of mouth? Are you Giving Little Unexpected Extras?
