According to Ron:

“Order a juice or soft drink from the bar.

You’ll discover ice cubes made from the same drink. As the ice melts your drink gets colder, but not diluted.

You get a stronger drink. Strong service, too.”

Marketing Lagniappe Takeaway: Putting a little forethought and planning with a small detail can translate into a strong signature extra.

Today’s Lagniappe (a little something extra) – Here is a interesting prank played at the Four Seasons in Vancouver involving a mannequin.  Great response by housekeeping at the hotel:

Lagniappe defined: A marketing lagniappe, i.e. purple goldfish,  is any time a business goes above and beyond to provide a ‘little something extra’. It’s that unexpected surprise that’s thrown in for good measure.
