The Heineken Experience pours in at #307 in the Purple Goldfish Project
For 15 euros you can tour the Heineken Brewery in Amsterdam. The tour is called the Heineken Experience.
It’s a tremendous value as your tour includes a few beers. Before you leave you are treated to a little marketing lagniappe. Each person receives a limited edition gift. During my days in Amsterdam they handed out a limited edition Heineken glass in a branded tin. Now they allow you to personalize a bottle of Heineken. Very cool or as they say in the ‘dam . . . ‘lekker’.

Today’s Lagniappe – This past weekend I took another tour. I made the pilgrimage to Vermont for Open House weekend. One weekend a year the sugar houses welcome the maple syrup devotees to get the inside the ropes tour. Check out this video from Hedgehog Hill Maple Syrup. Ron Burns of Hedgehog Hill gives me the nickel tour and plays a dirty trick. I left with some sweet syrup and luckily my eyebrows intact.
